- What's included in a build?
- Depends on what you need, and our level of involvement. From just plans and consulting packages up to 100% turnkey options. We help homeowners figure out what options they have from DIY consulting up to boutique custom builds and also help architects and commercial spa builders design and build their dream saunas as well.
- How do you quote a project?
- Reach out, introductions, site visit of possible, propose 3-4 options, narrow down the scope, pay for design services, design a fully unique sauna based on your requirements.
- What does the customer need to prepare?
- Depends on your comfort level and budget. We work with a large referral network to make it easy for you to sub out phases of the project. We always encourage more DIY to save money and to allow you to have a little sweat equity and appreciation when its all completed.
- Which woods do you build with?
- Sauna Appropriate materials. Cedar, Aspen, Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Thermally Modified Woods, the list goes on and on. No 2 saunas are exactly the same.
- What deposit do you ask for?
- Depends on involvement. Normally its 1st the Design fee, then a chunk to purchase materials, and then 50% labor at the start of the build and then final payment at delivery.
- How do customers look after the sauna?
- We train you to maintain it but also offer maintenance packages through Spruce Sauna Care
